box designing questions.

i am building a ported box for a single cab truck but i dont know if i should do both the sub and port out the front or if i should do the sub forward and port up? anyone have any experience with this? the box will be behind the seats and the sub will be behind the drivers seat with the port behind the passenger. any help would be appreciated

sub towards the seat port to the side. angled front and make sure you put a grill of some sort on the sub so it doesnt hit the seat when it plays
