If you plan on replacing them with SAs in the future, then go ahead as planned (I would remove the partitions) without the ports and then port the box when you get the SAs. That way, you won't waste an entire box.

Also, if the Hifonics subs don't like that much volume, you can always add mass to the inside of the box to tweak it.

EDIT: But yeah, those will do better sealed and will have a better shot at handling the power they claim.

No that design is for someone if I go sundown id probley do some xs just 2

I recommend a 6" aero per 12 I feel box needs to be a bit bigger now I see why everyone says sa subs are louder in higher frequencies that small a box will causee a peaky box.
