Box design... Would be really great...

Alright... I can build a box just I have all the tools needed etc... I just need a design!

I now see why design is so important... From my mishap, so thats like 30$ and a few hours wasted...

I'm not really sure how to ask.. But I need a good design for 2 12" type R's... With limited space...

As for dimensions Here is What I know I have to work with...

Hight- 14.5

depth- 19

width- 34 (could be 1 or 2 inches more, I have to double check)

Well, thats what I don't know! i'm not a box designer, I don't know where to begin, lol, well kinda

Port- 2.5x13

Port Length- 37.5

Port Area- 32.5

Hmm I have been told I need more area... thats not 2.2 ft per sub is it? Maybe I could get a bigger box in there.. subs facing up?

Thats 2.2 all together. I finally got the Alpine website to load for me. I thought I remembered it calling for 1.2ft^3, but now I see it is 1.7

I will fix it. How much are you wanting? 3-3.5 somewhere in there?

I could fit something longer thoug if it were shorter..

It could be 12.5 inches high with the subs poointing up...

I have like 36in..

35" wide towards the back of the trunk. 40" wide in the front area.

34" deep

I just need to know if it will be able to slide in depending on how long/ tall I make it...

The 35" is only for 11", the other 23 I have 40" to work with...

do you want a slot port on the side like in the first one or do you want a square port on the center of the bottom?
