Box Build for Myself

I dont get to build something for myself very often. I asked to Chris to come up with something crazy. Basically, all I told him were my dimensions, that I liked my Q in my current bandpass, and that I wanted to try to utilize every option I had available. Well, all I can say, is this dude has MAD skills. Im hoping to get going on this as soon as this weekend. Here is a little preview to what he came up with. From the outside, it looks pretty simple, but there is a LOT of internal work that needs to be done. You will see what I mean.... its going to be quite a little challenge..... :rock:

Yea its a dummy port. Basically just to make everything symmetrical. It serves no other purpose....

I did another box awhile back, that was flared and dual ports. One of the ports was a dummy as well. Looks pretty cool IMO.

I assume the amps are going under the plexi? I can't imagine this build being anything less than perfection (like all of your other builds), so I look forward to the progress.

Thanks Chris for posting up that pic. And thanks to everyone else as well. Im very excited to start this build, I just couldnt sleep in this morning, LOL. I gotta go get some groceries and run some errands then Ill head to the shop and get going on this.

For finishing it, I think Im going to go with carpet. I need to work in some sort of storage compartment for my jack and stuff as well...

That looks amazing. At first I was very confused on the false port and where the sub was going, but now I see.

imho i dont like dummy ports but it is a nice looking box.
