Box design question

Ok this may sound like a stupid question to some but here's my situation. I'm planning on building a new box and was wondering if there would be any difference in air movement and shit like that between a sub up port back box and a sub down port back box? Granted I coulda worded this better but I'm in a hurry, wanted to make this thread before I leave for work.

Well you should just build the box and try it out.

Sub up port back, then just flip the box over and lift it up a little and you have sub down port back.
