Including basic performance relationships similar to the Thiele/Small analysis of vented boxes, TLwrx Version 3.0 provides designers with valuable information about expected system response prior to construction. The software is based on extensive research by G. L. Augspurger, longtime technical manager for JBL's professional division and designer of over 100 custom installations in recording studios worldwide. Information gained from this work is the basis behind Joe D'Appolito's well-known design for the Thor speakers. Along with the TLwrx Version 3.0 software, extensive notes, an alignment chart, and Augspurger's three articles describing his research which appeared in Speaker Builder magazine are included on the CD.
