Box design for crewcab silverado

I have an 05 crewcab silverado. I was thinking about raising the back seat 2" to fit a little bigger sub. When I raise the back seat up 2" it will of couse also move all the seat brackets up 2". So I was wondering how exactly y'all guys that did it make the sub box work? Did y'all just 2 .75" ring spacers to the box to add the added depth or did y'all get a box built or what? I'm trying to fit either 1 or 2 type r's or dc's depending on space available. Thanks in advance

Built mine firing forward. Raised the seat in my 97 extra cab 2.5" also with squate tubing but welded mine in Pics where the box will go would help. But mostley you'll have to build it in stages and keep test fitting as you go

I would like to have them fireing forward but even lifting the seat up 2" that only gives me like 9" in the front of the seat. I just wasn't sure what the other crewcab owners did after they lifted the seat.
