Box Desigg for 2 Rl-P 15s

Ok I am doing 5.2 cubes net tuned to 31 hz.

The outer dimensions are going to be 44w x 17h x 19d

the port is going to be 15.5 x 4.5...

If i make the port 14.5 inches deep, then do an L turn 14 inches long... that will make my port length 28.5 inches right? which will tune my box around 31 hz correct? If I am completely off anywhere please tell me because this is my first ported box I have built. Thanks.
