Box Covering

just looking for alternative ideas for covering a box, rather then carpet.

I originally had an idea to Line X truck bedliner the outside of a sub box just for the ruggedness of it.

any other ideas rather then glass or carpet?

of course. Just wanted like a rubber like alternative or something that seals well to cover all the joints and everything.

there is some pics in here of people using bedliner stuff looks pretty good. formica still looks the best IMO

theres these rubber floor coatings for grauge u can put little color sprinkles in i imagine that would look different u can get it at a home depot or something

i think thats what i'll be using, i just recently seen a coworker use the stuff on his garage floor and wouldnt mind a box done in it.

im gonna do a fiber glass box up in this metallic plaster stuff with a sealer. should look really sick. wont be as durable as truck lining stuff but it will be 100% water proof. click the link on my sig if you want there website.

I second the vinyl. You can make it match the interior of your car, which was my original plan with mine, but then decided against it.

if you're covering an entire box with vinyl, and not just the baffle, it is very hard to make look good. with carpet, you can buff up the seams with your fist to conceal them, with vinyl you cant.

true, it does depend on if you are covering the whole box or not. Or what sides you can leave uncovered. like he could possibly do the top sides and baffle. 90accordman, what does your box look like?
