Well they only sell 3/4 at Lowes so I guess I'll be going with that. Also I'm trying to get the dual 4 ohm models of my subs instead of the svc. That way I'll only be putting 2.67 on my amp and I won't be overpowering my subs by so much. I understand that you can do it, but I have no experience whatsoever, and I don't want to push my stuff too hard and blow it.

3/4 should be ok, right? It's not like these are spl subs or anything. And I just finished my box design, I will try and post it up here somehow later.

Ok, my box is divided into 3 sections. Each section is 12.5 X 12.5 X 12.5, a perfect cube. Comes to about 1.13 ft^3

I subtrated .07 ft^3 for the sub's displacement which leaves me with 1.06 ft^3

The .07 was an approximation I got from http://www.eatel.net/~amptech/elecdisc/caraudio.htm. I don't have the subs yet so I don't know the exact volume.

The recommended sealed box volume is 1.0 ft^3.

Smaller boxes are better for sq.

Larger boxes are better for spl.

is that correct?

Will there be an audible difference from 1.0 and 1.1?
