With all due respect, I am really not exactly sure why you want to do this in the first place. I'll use me as an example. 85% of my boxes are made for people locally, the other 15% is for people here. The people that I make enclosures for couldn't be happier with their boxes. Now obviously, there are people on here who bullshit and talk stuff about how they are this and that, but have nothing to back it up. However, for those that DO have their designs in action (such as myself, squeak12, moe, and nrustlar), they obviously aren't bullshitting as you can see what transpires. So, if you truly want me in this "contest", then sure I'll join; even though I personally think it's useless as I have already proven myself.

i am backing out of this quote unquote contest, as ive (after careful viewing) come to see this as a thread to call my boy 80 out and to shit on him even further than a public signature. sure people may want to know who does good boxes and what not, but i don't believe anyone selling plans are going to do so without the knowledge to design them.

tell me great one how do you test for accuracy when most cars no matter where you tune it. it peaks somewhere else and usually always peaks at the same spot unless its a radical change in tunning. unless your just gonna ask for box designs and then you or someone will check if its right on paper. wich is stupid cause its only theory and not the real world. retarted thread. for retarted people

Ah your right, if u are straight SPL, but if someone asks for 35 hz 40 sq inches of port in 2.5 cubes net...........theres only one correct answer.

I'd do it. A lot of people make little mistakes...making the box have slightly differing tuning.
