Box Build for Sleepy_jr's GF

I'm calling this one the "butterfly effect". Only thing I knew was she likes butterflies and her fav color is purple, so I had free reign to do as I wanted. I'm very happy with how it came out. Going in a silver metallic Liberty.

Box is 5^3 @ 32Hz, 45's in the corners, braced, and double baffle. Sub is a 15" Death Penalty and will be installed Saturday for the Chicago meet on Sunday. Box had to be pre-assembled, flush trimmed, and do the round over on the port, so I could do the painting before assembly.

The camera wouldn't pick up the purple lighting as it looks blue for some reason, but it's rather pimpette in person. Total build time was around 20+ hours as it was the first time doing frosted plexi with lights and also the port is a 3 stage paint job. Purple stain/poly came out very nice. Pics just don't show how everything jumps out against the black. Her initials are "GG", hence the raised letters.

that is slammin mike!!! i thought i was gonna have to wait till sat when they picked it up to see. the LEDs are real nice touch the butterfly and paint are great cant wait to see this in person.

What you ran out of clamps so you had to use a EMPTY glass.

They're oznium cathode lights. Color is UV which is actually like a purple colored black light.

Just uses some 1/4" MDF. Tried to make them look sort of tribal like the sticker, but the little pointed ends don't really show with the carpet, at least not in the pictures.
