Just wondering, but did you trim down the bolts on the inside?

No as only one was long, but that's what came in the box I bought. Won't hurt anything, so I left it.

I'm open to tips/advice as this was my first time doing plexi. Originally I was going to flush mount it, but for the first try I decided to do it the easy way...

You could just angle the edges off the plexi to 45. Would look a little cleaner in my opinion but that's about it

great looking box though. what kind of paint did you use?

primer, silver/aluminum base coat, Krylon clear purple, and crystal clear top coat. Has around 4 coats of each one and took a LONG time to do, but I'm happy with how it came out.

I was originally going to make it look cloudy instead of solid to go with the butterfly theme, but working with spray cans didn't allow that option.

Not sure I follow. So it would have a beveled edge exposed?

Man this box turned out awesome and it sounds sounds so good. My GF was very happy when saw it. Exceptional work as always.

What you ran out of clamps so you had to use a EMPTY glass.
