I just opened the box...looks nice
but......Im a bit curious SPY

what happens if instead of cutting the front at 16" X 36" the front panel is cut at 14.5" X 32.25" ?

The front panel is pushed inside the box by 3/4" so 14.5*33.25*.75=.21^3 that is lost internally and that is going to effect the tunning by a little. Not to mention the strength that is lost on the mounting of the sub to the panel.
