It's nice design and I can understand it from the appearance factor, but a complete waste of space for the function of the design. That wasted space could be used for a functional port if more thought were put into the design to do it.

i'd place a battery in place of that dummy port... or maybe it'll still fit w/ the dummy port.

imho i dont like dummy ports but it is a nice looking box.

i concur... dummy port is some wasted space.. Why not just run a single port in the middle if you want symmetry.

There are actually a couple reasons why we went with the dummy port...

First, In my box, I wanted to include every option I currently have available. This way if people ask what certain things will look like, I can easily show them.

Secondly, the box was going to extend the full width of the truck, regardless. So I didnt want to have a bunch of "blank" area. To me, thats a waste of space. Might as well do something with it.

I understand, with custom work, not everyone will always like the ideas. Thats fine. Its a matter of personal opinion...

Amprack is there, on either side, just hidden except for the plexi on top.

Yea I know, but that empty space could be used creatively to incorporate some kind of amp rack as well. Either way it'll be dope.
