no i didnt find out until after i had already started building. i clicked on his htread because i thought it was mine and i was wtf.

OK i can take that back cause in a previous post on the other thread he said that the customer asked for what he built 2.5@33 and was originaly for a different woofer... so i do take that back

Looks good, but leaves alot to be desired.
A couple of simple things you can do to gain output

-round over the port corner

-Get rid of the 90's w/ wood, resin, pvc, etc.....

Other then that, it looks decent and should get the job done.

i don't do any of that for customers...for this simple reason....

Rounding over the corner of the port with a router I can see doing, but the other things?

Without testing them in a vehicle and doing before and after termlab tests you don't know if it helps or hurts....

what if the way the sub is loading in that particular enclosure having the angles in the corners costs you 1.5db?

you don't do drastic things to enclosures that have a possibility of hurting output without first testing them.

that is correct.. just because u add a 45 here and 45 there doesnt mean its going to be louder...
