i usually like his work but lately he seems to have been slacking. yes 33hz is probably to low for and audioque.

well u can tune a AQ low if u know what ur doin but .... he doesnt lol there is a way to tune AQ low and still have it control the cone

That's easy to say when you have no idea what info he gave me to work with.

Before you go talk shit about someone you might want to get off your high horse and get all the info.

Have you run an HDC3 at 33hz? with the power he is running?, probably not.

If he has a problem with the box I will deal with it, but you bashing me when you don't know all the details just shows how much of an idot you are.

No wonder this site has such a bad rap in the car audio community, look who's giving the advise around here.

well if he gives u the info he wants the box built at u should know what to do and what not to do ... but ill hold all my opinions to myself from now on ,,,, i guess everything has to be praised on this forum even if its wrong but whatever

Dude, it is not that bad of a box. You just think you are king shit when it comes to everything and it don't meet your requirements, so STFU and go talk shit in another thread! I mean you are in 4 of them talking ish about SPY, like 1 wasn't enough. Is obvious, you havce it out form him.

And the other one wouldn't have? I think both of them would have been fine, but Spy built his first correct? So then people say he could have done better with the carpet job and you come in saying it won't do well tunned to 33 and then the kid gets another one built? Yeah you had nothing to do with that.

well his box was 2.5@33 .. AQ has proven having hard time controling the cone in low tuned boxes and with 2.5@33 is prolly asking for trouble sence the Fs of the actual box is 29ish hz and he is tuning at 33 i dont think he would have a problem if he was using 500 or less watts but a better solution would be 2.3-2.5 @ 38 -40 or 1.75 @ 33 with anything over 700-1000watts

Ok and Spy stands by his boxes! So if that became a problem, that should have been delt with Spy and his customer. Now the way it looks is this kid seen some select comments on the tunning and the carpet job and was like, I am not paying for that! Hell he even said, "I paid 175 bucks for that!" So that right there made it seem like he was persuaded some where down the line. I even think he at first said he liked it, so whatever.

I am done with you and will never do any business with you seein how you have become on here. Let me guess, you will come back with, fine no loss for me. Sure thing buddy........sure thing.

well i dont like to lose customers but what u believe is what u believe.. sorry that presuaded u to go with someone else... there are ALOT of good builders on this site spy is usualy one of them .... so ya i lost a customer but u dont see what im seeing cause ur not a box builder.... i think if a person is paying for a box they should get nothing less then perfect... and a proper proven design thats just me though..... thanx for ur thoughts.... sorry if i came off as a ***

Well, I give you that much, that yes.....Spy indeed usually does better work, but maybe there is something else into it. I know you want what is the best, but he should have at least tried the other box first. In no means am I saying that Twisted didn't do a better or worse job, the kid should have at least given SPY a chance and then if not happy, a chance a making it right. This situation is pretty sad to see really.

Also I have always been one to comment in your threads and always loved your stuff. And let me be frank, there is nothing wrong with constructive critiscm, just you went the wrong way with it.
