Everytime i try to put screws in it cracks even though i predrilled the holes. Any ideas? For now though I'm sticking with wood glue

is it mdf? are u predrilling both boards? is the drill bit to small for the screw?

Ahh heres some pics then. I hate using the XTI in such dusty conditions, so the canon s230 will do for now =[

Im using 3/4 MDF, predrilled the holes with the drill bit basically the same size as the screw

it would leave the threads of the screw to be screwed on.

Not quite i used a cutting board basically that I've seen used on there forums, ill post picturess later. Missing a lot of picturess because its been over a month project and I've been working on 3 cars at the same time.

Wood beginning to glue

Yeah in the 3rd picture the wood doesnt align perfectly, but my friend decided he didn't want to buy more wood.
