Box Build ----Fiberglass & MDF

I have a question...what do you use to make the router go straight. I have the hardest time with the first part of a roundover. In the middle I do okay...it's just the starting that kills me. I am thinking of plunging in the middle and going out.

Not exactly sure of your problem.

Are you moving the router counter-clockwise?

Resined up, Everglass applied to the exterior and all the strengthening of the box was done on the inside to minimized the body work needed.

When I found a polydex material with butterfly beads on it, there was no way I could pass that up. So I bought all 8 yards they had.

I know.............your jealous.
a true fiberglasser knows. butterflys and crap make the box sound better //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Thanks everyone.

I made the amp rack today, but that is all.

It is on the fiberglass forums link.

I should be sanding this box out tomorrow.

Sanded the box.

Then a layer of Rage went on.

Sanded that.

Then did another layer of Rage.

Will sand that off tomorrow. Fix anything the Slick Sand won't fill and then primer.

Before I do any primering on it, I test fit it to make sure it is all good and goes as planned.

Slid it in and it went right in where it was suppose to go. Good luck or good planning?

Here are a couple shots of the flange on the inside where the bed part of the box and the cab part are bolted together.

In order to answer your question, I would need to know what model (e.g. SW4200, SW7524DVC). Also, are you looking to make a ported box or sealed?
