OHH LOL! that one yeah that the first one that broke. biggest POS evar. Thought you were talking abou the box that was in the picture with my amp f/s thread -- thats the one im talking about nowthat first one in your fs add looks like an absolute peice of shit
Gorilla Glue expands quite a bit...not good to use for joints.you can brace the box & reseal the box w/ gorilla glue. i build all of my boxes w/ gorilla glue & never had a problem w/1 comeing a part.
I'd have to go against the liquid nails (wood glue is what you want), but x2 most of thatStraight cuts, screws, liquid nails and brace the inside. If it is gonna get a lot of power, fiberglass resin on the inside. If you do all that and still "break" your box, don't ask me. With that said, it is just a matter of putting the sides together in the right places.
booo on the liquid nails. wood glue > liquid nails.Straight cuts, screws, liquid nails and brace the inside. If it is gonna get a lot of power, fiberglass resin on the inside. no need for screws if you use wood glue. For some reason, not too many people believe in screws on this forum.
yes. Clamps are nice too.the screws just hold the box in place while the glue drys.
u dont need screws at all if u properly glue the box and use the appropriate glue.
