Box advise

So I have 2 Rockford p3 12's. The current box is sealed and built to the specs on the Rockford site. 14hx36wx10d. I am not really happy with it. I have been told ported is the way to go. Where the heck do I start?lol I do listen to absolutely every type of music. I was told tuning to 40 hz was a good compromise,but I have no clue about this as I have always ran sealed boxes. I definitely wouldn't call myself a sq guy, but I am also not looking to do spl. Maybe a mix of both, loud and accurate I guess. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

You probably want to tune lower.

Hit up a designer for an enclosure design, it's one of the if not the most important parts of any build... a great sub-stage will floor most people if done right. Tune it for your music tastes, port it for your power and configure it for your vehicle... this was for a Focus (my son's) and it sounded great and went fairly low as well...

That was on a RF 1200? prime... I think. IDK which he was using... he loves my stash.
