Boston Z6 problem *strange*

Well my problem is this:

Low volumes the tweeters will cut out, either the left or right random at times. As you increase the volume the tweeters will pop back on, but sometimes cut off. All connections are nice and tight, double checked. Been getting worse over time. Any idea what the problem can be? Running off a 300/4 JL amp and Eclipse Receiver. It started with only the left channel but over time has progressed to the right channel as well. Any ideas?

Grab a DMM. When the tweeter cuts out, start at the beginning of the signal chain and work your way towards the speakers testing each location to verify you have signal. So if your components are bi-amped, I would start at the amplifier channel and test it w/ the DMM to verify it's outputting a signal. If that checks out okay, check to verify there's voltage at the input of the crossover. Then at the output of the crossover, then check to be sure it's getting to the speaker. Process of elimination to figure out where the signal is getting dropped.

Hooked up another set of speakers 0 problems. Which leads me to believe the Crossovers must be the problem.

Do you have one good and one bad crossover? I have one good and one bad and I dont mind giving up the good one for a small price, and I could throw in the bad one for free in case you figure out how to fix it.

Bad Crossovers, I had the same problem. Apparently the speakers can take 350+ watts w/o a problem but the crossovers just don't hold up. Either try to grab a pair from Ebay or run active....Boston wanted a crazy amount for X-overs.

Would those crossovers I posted be a good match or try to find the z6 crossover somewhere?
