Hey, I am thinking about telling my dad to get me this sub for christmas sense it is cheap and i have a better chance of getting it. But rite now i have a Jensen sub that is not really bad. But i am wondering will this

Boss DIABLO D12F Flat Subwoofer be a good sub to get?

boss is one of the lowest quality subs made. mtx 4500 is a good budget sub.

jensen is a little above boss. the enclosure will be what makes the most difference.

it's not a good sub. any sub will produce bass in a good enclosure though. but no, i would never recommend that to anyone. there are far beter budget subs. depends on appilication, vehicle, and budget.

Ew no. Get an L5 or a type r off craigslist. Will sound 30x better

Get him to get you a Hifonics HFI...might be cheaper than the boss too.

cerwin vega has a cheap sub. an infinity reference is good and cheap off ebay.

good is a strong word. for 35$ new, they're disposable.
