No, Boss is not a good brand. Sony is really not the best either.

i know the amp yont push 1200 i just want a sub capable of over 1200 watts.

i bought that amp before i came to these fourms. and i had no idea about car audio then

had it a long time,

Those outlaws are alright, i heard a pair on 1200w rms ported. They didnt have good sound qaulity, i would say they are lower power handling mofos, thats what they sound like. Oh and your "1200" watt sony maybe does 500 rms.

Lesson #1

Peak power means nothing. The RMS rating is whats important. Your amp is says it can put out 500rms, but you will be lucky if it even can.
