boss and lanzar amps?

Not looking to spend a ton on an amp. Thinking about getting a boss or lanzar amp rated to put out around 1600 rms to power a 1000 rms sub. I figure if it does 2/3 what it says it can do, then it will work nicely.

Exactly. Opti amps make rated at .5 tho. But great amps the only good ones by Lanzar. Nothing from boss

Not for the price get real name somethin better for the price. People just need a reason to justify why they spent so much for an amp. 700 dollars for a 2500 watt amp over a thousand for a sundown brand new. Everybody is not pushin there system to the max everyday tryin to win competitions. You want some good bump my guy go optidrive, save you some money and be just loud as the sundowm, dc, dd dhick riders on this site

Only good line of Lanzar is Opti, as earlier mentioned. JBL has good, cheap, amps. As does CT as far as I've seen, they do rated and pretty clean. Honestly, I'll probably get some sh*t for this, but check local pawn shops. Some great amps hide there for really low prices sometimes. Look for obvious abuse, and go for what you know is reputable.

Sundowns amps are stupid expensive, as well as some others. But no new to ride the Opti's nuts. It's hardly the only quality for the price, and they take hardcore electrical to back. CT, JBL, and some others make rated, more efficiently, and cheaper if you know where to go.
