ma audio high current amps are good. so are the alphasonik high currents. not too bad on prices either

So wouldn't you need a 17volt system to get anything out of those amps?

17 Volts = more power, it's not like the amps wont run on 12v.

Look into Profile, Hifonics, Crunch, Planet Audio, Kenwood, Power Acoustik, and Pioneer for some decent, yet inexpensive amplifiers.
Stay away from Pyle, Legacy, Pyramid, Boss, Kole, Roadmaster, etc...

If you're good with Power Ac you should be just as good with Kole - they're exactly the same inside. Along with SPL.

Don't say something sucks because it accomplishes the goals its designers set for it (low cost, reliable, heavy). Nobody says McDonalds sucks because it isn't Ruth's Chris, just different objectives.
Stuff has surprisingly good reliability and a 5 year warranty.

Much better choices are suggested (I would suggest Crunch), but Boss is better than some of its competitors at that end of the market.

profile is a very solid budget amp. the internals have been completely redone. even before they were upgraded they were ok, but now they are even better for the money.

if that link don't work then seach phoenix gold xenon 400.1 on ebay. They are great amps. I just bought one and I am very very impressed. over 400 rms 1-4 ohm stable.
