I would think tuning it that high would give you a weird peaks in the response.

I'll be back in Cincinnati later this afternoon and will look at it then...

I need my bookshelf speakers to really pack a punch, so I'm going to port them. I'm not going for something extremely SQ oriented, just something compact that will be full and loud for my apartment next semester.

I was aware of that, but they fit nicely in corners, almost like they aren't there //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
With its massive x-max, mid Q, and somewhat low FS, those drivers can easily go down to 30 hz or lower in room with authority in a 1/2 wave pipe horn (which is what a BIB essentially is). Playing around with the responses of the driver it actually models pretty nice at .75 cuft at 41 Hz.

That would give you about -3 dB at around 40-45 Hz which will crossover very nicely with a subwoofer.

If you wanted to use the 2" round port it would need to be 5.282" long.
