I know it seems like to vain a thing to pick a head unit by but i'm not really a big sq nut so just about any cd player from a quality company is good enough for me. What are some headunits you know of that has a deep blue display like the blue volkswagen uses in thier new cars that i can get for around 300. i was thinking either the 7400mp or 740mp premier but its more of a turqouise blue than a royal blue.

the alpine cda 7893 is blue and silver it goes good in my blue truck its bout the same color as the vw look at crutchfield to see a pic you can get it cheaoer than them bvut they should have a pic

or onlinecarstereo.com they have a better price 299 i think no ship

no its not vain i got it for the same reason //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

ok maybe it is vain so what get what you want you want blue to match get blue:D //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

Panasonic //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif - may be a little too light for what your looking at though...you can custom tailor colour's with certain Kenwood's.

Have you checked out the panasonic recievers with the day amnd night faceplates, its awesome, when its light outside the reciever looks "chrome" but when the lights go out it glows a really cool blue color...ist sweet

I've decided to get the clarion proaudio dxz825. the display isn't blue entirely blue like i want but it does have enough to go with the gauge faces and hvac controls i want and the white does go with the parts of the interior lighting i won't be able to change to blue (like gear indicator, power mirror controls, power door lock buttons ect) but i do have a another question does the dsp processor clarion has for it have time correction? it doesn't out right say it but some of the features of it make me think it does

well i flip floped again. now i want that alpine cda 7893. has everything i want except for mp3 playback but cdrs are cheap anyway and i can always get a mp3 cd walkman and plug it in to the auxillary inputs. I really like the fact that it has time correction. Alpine is just about the only company i've found that has time correction at a price in my budget for a hu. It
