ok, i dont know much about car audio cuz im just starting. Im gonna be gettin (2) JL Audio 12w3's.

(no dont post because you hate jl, or any other brands, thats just stupid.)

anyways.. what kind of amp -either JL or Rockford- would be better? doesnt really matter as long as it can power the subs. just give me some ideas.

go with teh JL...

the JL amps produce hte same amount of power at any ohm load...

wire your subs in parallel series to yield a 4 ohm load on the amp.. nice easy one for it to handle, and it will power themfully...

plus it will be cleaner than the RF
