Personally, I think that threaded rod looks like dirty sanchez. Visible parts of the inside of the enclosure will be quite attractive when it's done. The last box like this that I posted, the guy paid for nothing but loud. He didn't care what it really looked like. It was still atleast painted on the inside. This guy paid more and want's a good look. Even if it has fourteenteen 40" Cadillac stickers on it!

great job on the build so far, if only the owner ditched the stickers and shaved the cadillac emblem on the front end, then maybe the truck would look halfway decent.

Tomorrow after work I'll put the top on, finish the braces for the corners and slap the subs in it for the show Saturday. After that, I'll have to take it back out and vinyl more of the inside, the whole outside and carpet certain spots in the front chamber of the box.

seems like a lot of bracing for 2kw of power. i guess after all that bracing you might cut down on cuft by what maybe 1cuft?

Less than .4 cubes of bracing, as if it mattered. And yes custel, it is just you.

I call them legs. Once it is put on the tail end of the bed, it slides into place on slim pieces of MDF. This is going on a vinyled bed floor, so no silicon under the box, It'll be screwed in quite a few places.
