Indeed, he is also very limited on space so getting the port area he needed while having room to mount the subs was just about impossible in any other design. It didn't help that it was designed to be double walled and ended up being single with minimal bracing lol. I could imagine that thing looks like it is breathing when it is playing haha.

The SPL port should have been built into the wall with the daily port sliding into the spl port.

I would suggest rounding the corners over ,but you can do that will 80 grit to save your router bit. Shouldn't really have any port noise, down side is we won't know unless you get it braced up and nice a rigid. Other wise any vibration you may see/hear will be hard to track down.

was your enclosure built towards your resin freq of your blazer. i went and re measured mine and my enclosure is tuned to 38hz. and i know my resin freq is is between 51-53hz. im thinking with that gap from 38hz - 50hz, if i brought my tuning up it would help out my scores a bit, idk how true that is but its a pretty big gap tho.

It depends on where your current setup is peaking. If the truck peaks here then the enclosure you can raise tuning and it will normally help out.

My current setup is a C-pillar built for demo not spl.

i see. yea on TL my setup is peaking at 52hz. no matter my enclosure tune, the sub, whether slot or aeroports its always peaked at 52hz since ive had it.

Well you all are debating all the things wrong with my setup I have to tell you that on Sunday we braced the hell out of it and had some fun with some
decaf(lil to much fun)... and this thing got stupid loud. I had an explorer doing 151.4 and this one sounded and felt louder.


I wish I could of got a vid cause every part of the C pillar and forward was flexing like a mutha fucka.


When the C4's come... you will see. I got lucky on this build
