Hey guys, im just wondering how i set my X over points on the dsc4125. Im running Mpyre mids on channels 3-4 and EQ Screamers on Ch 1-2. I have a Y splitter so i only have one set of RCA's for the fronts. Is it possible to adjust this amp so set the Xover points:(? Thanks for any help. Also, my HU is a 9886 if i can adjust it on there, i just got it and i didnt get a manual so i havent had a chance to mess with it.

not sure if i understand what ya mean but there is a dupe setting to copy gain filters ect on 3/4 to 1/2. But, you wont be able to get any deck functions on all 4 channels seperately using y's tho.

i run biamp on mine with the pvi but it is easy since the x0vers for them have seperate tweeter and mid inputs. so i use the front channels to the tweet inputs and the rear inputs on the mids.

Thats not quite how bi amping works, you use the comps passive crossover to control the frequency going to each speaker....the passive's usually come with (2) sets of inputs for the tweeter and mid, with each one getting a channel to itself from a amp.

The bonus, is that you can feed you mids more power and less power to your tweeters, and have level control for the outputs of you mids seperate from your tweeters (using the amps gains).

For what you want to do, your going to need a active crossover, since you have a Alpine 9886 i would suggest finding a Imprint processor to use with it.

I dont quite understand? But there is no way to set the Xover on the amp??? All i want is the mid to play from ~80hz up to ~2500-3000hz and the tweet to play the rest from there. And idk anyone with the imprint!??! nor do i know how to use it lol.

Class A/B get pretty hot. Its normal imo.
//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif. Lol. Ive noticed this. It just irritates me cuz im constantly worrying if its too warm. And i always crank my music.

I remember when I didn't have a clue I had my gains way too high on my us amps 2000 back like 6 years ago, and the thing was so hot it would literally burn you if you touched it.

You can't do this with your amp. Since the low pass only goes up to 150hz, and the high pass only up to 1.2khz, you need an active crossover to get the crossover points you're wanting. I'd suggest just getting a HU that can do all of it instead of buying an external crossover or imprint.
