between these 2 6.75" comps

I'm planning to change the speakers in my truck, which uses 6.75 inch speakers.

Some of the 6.5" comps look great, but I don't want to use special adapters to install 6.5s in 6.75 speakers locations. I'm looking at these two comp speakers and what is your take on it or if you can recommend me anything better.

I would personally choose the Type-R's over the Polk db's.

I would take that over the Polk and Alpine

Agreed on the 720PRS's. They sound amazing. I got to audition them first off of 50w rms and then off of 100w rms per channel. Awesome clarity and midbass.

I heard them hooked up to a Directed Xtreme 2ch amp in a shop, gave them about 100w RMS, and they sounded great, pretty much agree with DejaWiz on how they sound, they are a solid set of comps, but not easy to find online

And Xtreme products by Directed arent bad, pretty good budget stuff!
