Better than two CVR 15 on SPL and SQ..

Hello, some of you may remember me as the Venezuelan guy trying to replace its old subwoofer system by a better one. My goal is simple:

Choose a system whose SPL and SQ is better than that of two Kicker CVR 15.

Fortunately enough, I did a deeper scan of the local market, and found more possibilities, which I list as follows (please note the quantities info on each one):

1. SPLW 15 ........................Quantity = 1
   
2. Jbl Gto 15 .......................Quantity = 4
   
3. RF Punch P3d415............Quantity = 2
   
4. RF Power T115d4 T1.......Quantity = 2
   
5. S4.15.vc2 Lightning ........Quantity = 3
   
6. Soundstream Tsq-124.....Quantity = 3
   
7. Powerbass 3xl-15d.........Quantity = 2
   
8. RF Power T215d2............Quantity = 1
   

Also, I show the list that was on my previous thread, which according to the general consensus, was not enough for beating two Kicker CVR 15 on SQ and SPL:

1) Audiobahn Eternal awes15p - Quantity: 2

2) Soundstream RBW-15 - Quantity: 3

3) Kicker CVX 15 - Quantity: 2

4) Soundstream Reference R1 - Quantity: 1

5) T9515-44 - MTX Thunder 9500 - Quantity: 1

Remember, with the subwoofer system that beats two CVR 15 on SQ and SPL, it's enough. If more than 1 of the aforementioned systems do this, please choose the one with the greatest SQ, since SQ is more important for me than SPL

This system is new, I still got no amp, and would choose the adequate amp after choosing the subwoofers. This is going into a Jeep Liberty's back.

get 2 rf t1s. i had a pair and they were pretty good. plus they look better then the kickers imo

CVX's and CVR's are similar on the sound quality portion, however the CVX's get tons louder. Neither are exactly sound quality woofers.

Why can you not import from the states?

CVX's and CVR's are similar on the sound quality portion, however the CVX's get tons louder. Neither are exactly sound quality woofers.

Because of severe trade restrictions, I can only import a worth of USD 800. I'm saving that amount for only the DVD Player and the subwoofer amp. The rest I would have to buy it here.

I only want to be louder than two CVR 15, and sound better than them. Whichever subwoofer system I posted achieves this, would make me happy. But I still don't know which one is it.

well 3-4 15" subs is a little much for a Jeep Liberty. Most of the cats on here would agree 2 15" is enough. I drive a RAV4, and 2 15's are more than enough cone area, to get your ears bleeding. Past that, get quality, and power it properly.

That said, PB 3XL's would work well for cheap. I'm a fan of their design (and steer clear of RF) so take it with a grain of salt.

If you haven't considered Audioque, Mach5, or DD's, they all have decent options in your price range. The DD's may have to be used to stay in budget (but it's still better than most subs new).

Edit: This is truly a new design constraint, maximum customs value. I like a good challenge. Will try to suggest more tomorrow.

Is that a yearly...monthly...what kind of restriction is that? Or is it at one time, and how do they value it?

Send me 1500 dollars and I'll snd you 1500 dollars worth of equipment valued at 800...

It won't take much to outdo 2 15" CVR's.

My buddy had a pair off a Massive 1500, and my 18" FI Q off an SAZ1500 could stomp them.

If CVX's sound anything like L7's, I fail to see how CVX's and CVR's are similar in SQ.

Personally, the only subs I've heard that sound worse than CVR's are Type R's and Livewires.
