Way to "glue" the surround back on? Haha

I got a pair of old memphis powerbass DVC subs, they have apparently taken quite a beating, where enough leads fell off to where only one coil on ONE of the subs were working, i fixed them all and all coils are working fine and have been for a bit now, but now the surrounds are taring apart right at the outisde where it connects to the basket. I know there is no ideal solution to fix this without acutally repairing them. But theyve taken quite a beating and dont see them lasting too much longer.. I just want to seal up the surround so theyll still work.

Any ideas? I am thinking just a bunch of silicon around the outside, but the one is already seperated like at least half of more. I dont care how it looks, ill prolly mount them backwards anyways. Silicon FTW?

Parts express sells glue made specifically for subwoofers, I would try that
http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=340-076
Thats not too spendy, and free shipping so i might actually try that.

CA glue ftw!
Ok i have read "CA glue" on here before, what the hell is that? Haha ive been wondering that for a while. Is it actually a "car audio"? glue?...

Superglue.
I dont think super glue will hold. I think it needs to be more of something flexible, maybe not tho. If i find some super glue i may just try it to see what it does. If not ill prolly buy that speaker glue. Ill post pics of the subs, theyre pretty beat but i wanna beat on them some more. Hit fairly hard for what they are //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

Well you only get the free shipping if you spend 98 bucks...so you'd have to buy a lot of glue
Ah shit haha.. I just read the "free shipping everyday" and didnt see below the **** thing its only on orders or 98 bucks.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

EDIT: How come we can say SHIT but we cant say the word D@MN, whats up with that?

i have the memphis m3's and regular superglue won't work....been there done that. i have two that are bad and mine are mounted inverted also. the other six are still playing but might be tearing themselves too but i can't see them. doesn't matter now, i'm getting the new c3's at the end of the month

Sounds like crap when the surround is starting to rip huh? I could tell cuz im pretty sure the coil was hitting on the one due to about half the surround not being attached so it wouldnt move straight in and out like it should. I really think the one of my subs is done for, its ripped too much. The other only has one small spot, and if i glue the whole thing it should help to keep from seperating as fast.
