For me it's very difficult to start comparing subs to the SI Mag. As the owner of a 15" Mag, I simply haven't heard any woofer comparable to it. Some woofers compete with it's output but can't handle music, others handle the music but can't keep up with the output.

If anything, I'd have to say the closest woofer I have to my mag in terms of, well, everything, is my Incriminator Audio Lethal Injections. They don't do any one thing amazingly well, but instead they do everything well. It's a woofer I could easily use in any vehicle with no regrets.

I miss having my LIs installed now. =(

Ive heard a lot of woofers...To me as an all around Sub (getting loud and sounding good doing it) you cant beat the mag.

don't know if the mag could touch the 06 xxx but the 05 xxx surely doesn't. I have had both the new xxx and older one. yes the xxx is overpriced, but you can find it cheaper elsewhere. got mine for under 600. how much are the mags 450??

You have never heard a mag, so please dont go comparing your beloved subs to something you havn't heard.

I've heard a mag sealed w/ about 600watts, and ported with about 1100 watts by a kicker, then later it was powered by a 20.1. No one's been dissipointed with a mag, its a **** good driver.

the Mag is probably the better all around sub out there with few drawbacks/complaints. I've used both the 12 and the 15 and talk with Nick when he comes into my store about the subs and other stuff out there. The low end on it is incredible which very few subs can do while being musically inclined. The output is incredible with low power and a good amount of power, I've yet to bottom it out or really test it with 1200rms. Musically its tight(especially the 12) and can handle very tough beats.

While the new XXX is a good output sub, I was not impressed with its overall SQ. Struggled a bit on fast moving bass and there's just something I didn't like about it. The older sub was more of a sub I like but I don't think i'd give my Mag up for it, the low end is so addictive on the Mag. I would say the Mag is a combination of the older Adire Brahma and W7, especially the 12. I loved messing with the 12, too bad I couldn't spend more time with it.

I have 2 12s I have yet to put in cuz I cant afford the rest of my setup yet but I cant wait to get them in. Just wondering, do you see alot of Mags in "hotlanta", ha Im so in tune with the slang these days.

In terms of just playing music, the Aura RPM series gets a respectable nod by me compared to the Mag as well. It just doesn't have nearly enough output to make a fair X/Y comparison.

In terms of output, well, I have to go back to those loud-as-hell Lethal Injections.
