I have a Zune with every song at 192 kbps or higher. Usually I'll just plug them into the aux input on my head unit but, if I burn a CD with the same exact song it sounds more clear. Can anyone explain this?
Thank you very much, friend...Wow, congratulations on your 11,363 post. I hope they all came from useless comments such as that one.
simple, if you were running your zune on a HU that bypassed the DAC the quality would be equal to the cd's. however you are not using a usb hu you are using the aux port which lets the zune do the converting instead of the hu, thus the sound is not as great. make sense?I have a Zune with every song at 192 kbps or higher. so the digital-to-analog converter on the head unit is better than that on the MP3 player is what you're saying right?simple, if you were running your zune on a HU that bypassed the DAC the quality would be equal to the cd's. however you are not using a usb hu you are using the aux port which lets the zune do the converting instead of the hu, thus the sound is not as great. make sense?
They were. He's a 'tard.Wow, congratulations on your 11,363 post. I hope they all came from useless comments such as that one.
The cd is digital to digital. It's not converted to analog until it's leaving the HU. That's the cleanest method. The 1/8" in jack is analog. So your zune is converting from digital to analog, then your Hu converts that back to digital, which eventually is converted back to analog. Too many steps. Sometimes it works, sometimes it sounds like crap.so the digital-to-analog converter on the head unit is better than that on the MP3 player is what you're saying right?
