Message: <blockquote data-quote="DidUHearThat?" data-source="post: 7103751" data-attributes="member: 594758">The cd is digital to digital.  It's not converted to analog until it's leaving the HU.  That's the cleanest method.  The 1/8" in jack is analog.  So your zune is converting from digital to analog, then your Hu converts that back to digital, which eventually is converted back to analog.  Too many steps.  Sometimes it works, sometimes it sounds like crap.Also, set the volume output of your mp3 player to about 70%.  Many people have the volume either too low or too high.  That will effect your SQ.</blockquote>
