New to car audio. Some questions.

Hello, I recently got into car audio and im looking to upgrade my current system on the cheap. i currently have two mtx terminators on an old Legacy LA420 amp. This weekend i bought two new kicker comp 12s single voice coil 4 ohms rated at 150 rms and i plan on wiring them in parallel. so my question is if i wire them in parallel would make it a 2 ohm load? and what kind of amp at a reasonable price would be good to power these?

You should be able to find out what wire configuration to do with the instruction papers that come with the subwoofers.
