I have a friend that works for Amoco Fuel and he just sent me an email telling me that gas will be going up drastically tonight. Some places will see a 40 cent increase from when Hurricane Katrina caused all those gas problems. Just a fair warning.

I don't even want to think about tomorrow......

My Cougar runs on 97 octane, and my Mustang and Thunderbird both run on 89.

I've allready heard from a few reliable sources to expect gas prices nearing $5.00/gallon in the next few weeks, so you may want to be prepared for that as well.

WARNING TO ALL.... This new hurricane about to hit texas.....Texas supplies 1/4 of the COUNTRY with oil....so you know what that means. I dont even have to say it. Id say gas will go up at least 40 cents.......

Good luck to all of you that are in TX. Please leave, or head west as much as possible. This could get nasty. I heard on the news yesterday that when it was in the class 5 category they said if there was a class 6, thats what it would have been at one point, but they have lowered it to a class 4, but who know what could happen.

I heard 5&6 dollars more than once after Katrina... never happened... I really hope you're wrong... It would cost me $115 to fill my tank @ $5...

Well my buddies friends mom said it was ganna go up to like 3 50 the day after katrina in IN and it only went up 20 cents, then a week later it went up 30 more to end up being 3 50, these are usually just scares!

If the gas goes above 3 dollors and remains for an extendid amount of time, I will be purchasing a bike. Or riding my elctric scooter to work It's only 3 miles should make it within 25-30 mins.
