I found a cell phone today, and its has service. Its not way nice or new or anything, but its newer then the one I have. I have a nokia 5165, this is a nokia 2260. Since I found it this morning, it has had NO calls to it. Obviously whoever's phone it was is not concerned about it. What should I do with it? SHould I keep it and transfer my service to it, use the service until it gets turned off. Keep it for 24-48 hours and see if any activity happens on it or if any calls it, and then trasnfer my service, or should I try to give it back?

EDIT: I already know the fisrt name of the person who owns it.

they had a post in here a WHILE BACK about calling and pretending your a representative for a specific service provider. Look on your bill and see the numbers that were made after your phone was stolen. Call the number and tell them your work for (EX: Sprint Fraud Department) and say your investigating suspecious fradulant calls that were made to this number. Tell the people the number and ask them if they know who they spoke to. It doesn't hurt to remind them that cellular fraud is a federal crime and can result in jail time, and or a fine.
