Better: Eclipse SW9122 or Eclipse SW8200 ?

Looking at getting 1 or 2 12" Eclipse subs and not sure which ones I want. Any ideas?

So if I want more bass, the sw9122 and if I want quality, the 8200 ? I had an sw9122 before and it pounded. What amp would you match either of these up to to make it sound perfect ?

Depends on your budget for the amp. Easiest and cheapest way to get the power to the 8200 is to buy a 2 ch amp that does ~700w bridged @ 4. (Since its a SVC 4 ohm sub)

You'll have more options for an amp with the DVC 9122.

Oh, ok. Well would it hurt to get a pheonix gold tantrum 1200.1 on it ? That is what I had on the SW9122 and it sounded pretty good

doubling the RMS isn't recommended. You can lower the gains and match the output to the sub (700w)

Ok, now another question, are Blaupunkt amps any good ? I am getting a full eclipse set-up and was lookign at their amps. The guy I am buying from told me he had them at a good deal.

3 cu sealed would be nice for a pair of 8200's. I had mine in a 1 cube, and it had a peak in the response curve, with little low end (LOW low end).
