Better choice for a double din headunit

If you want a touch screen head unit then get one. Single DINs are yesterday's leftovers. Look up these models on YouTube and watch some videos of them in action. It's not enough to just look at the lists of features and look up some reviews. The Pioneer model you linked is last year's closeout.

If you spend $200-300 on a single DIN the #1 reason for spending that much is for the sound processing. Do you care about a big EQ and time alignment? I can argue that those features matter, but you're the one who has to learn to use them.
