no excuse needed ,i know your a noob at this. there can be better to be had for the same money or maybe just a bit more .try going with an american bass xfl 12 and a vfl 80.1 amp ,should keep you close to your budget and be a way better system for you .cvr subs sound very muddy ,and really just sound like crap,kicker amps are still ok but not what they used to be ,they are made in china now = junk.build yourself a ported box around 34 hertz and a knu 4 gauge amp kit .if weight is a factor use birch ply for the box.this will give you what you want spl wise and budget wise .when your ready hit me up and i can work up a total for you. just trying to steer you in the right direction so that you don't waste your time and money on junk.

I am not a Sundown fan either, I will stick with my Powerbass ...lol....but I was showing you the best bang for cheap on the power limitations you have...G/L and don't buy that prefab with the Skars, if that is what you do..you can get the Skars for $300 and the other $150 they want for that junky box would do you far better justice by having one built.
