I think I am goin to upgrade my mtx 7500's,they just dont seem as tight as day 1.I was looking at the new fosgates but curious what other opions are out there.Btw its 3 12"s in a sealed box running off a hi-fonics brutus.

The brutus is a d class "1600" watt amp running at I believe 1ohm.My box,umm I seem to remember 1.25 airspace or somthing.

whats an rl-p? I am not concerned with looks,only performance as my subs are downfired an you cant see them.

I am actually very tempted to re-do my box to a vented set up into the car an upgrade my subs.But I just spent 700$ on a built to spec sealed box.grrr it be like 700$ for nothing!

Yeah dont be afraid of these, they are great. They will work great in a sealed box, the SQ will be amazing. If you want a little more SQL then go with the ported box as stated above. If you look here My Car There is a picture of the Rl-p 12 and it looks a whole lot better then on there website. (they still have the old picture of the Rl-p on the website.) Mike at Soundsplinter is a great guy to deal with also.

id say 80-90% of us are using internet brands weve never heard in person..

the only thing you have to rely on are other peoples testamonials..besides, theres only one way to truly find out..

i purchased an re xxx a year ago. i too, was skeptical...im happy and i will probably never go back to any "mainstream" brands again.

in fact, i plan on trying out audioque, which is another internet-based company that ive never heard or whos products i have never seen in person..
