Best sub for sealed box

Yeah, I need the trunk space though. Little kid and whatnot. Stroller, and crap like that. I did have the ssd in a custom box. It was pretty big though. For now I'll do the 10 sealed... I know, sacrifices of being a grown up... I'll probably make a box for it like I did the ssd at some point. I just didn't want to get another fi sub. Wanted to try something else new. I've tried a lot of the mainstream crap, Rockford, alpine, kicker, Polk, want something nicer. Right now I have some really crappy jl 10s in my old car.

i personally would rather go 2 8's ported in a custom box anyday over 1 10 sealed
American Bass VFL8D4 8" Competition Woofer 800W Max | eBay

2of these

Two 2 Alpine® SWR 8D4 Car 8" DVC 4 Ohm Type R Audio Subwoofers 2 000W Subs New | eBay

Two VVX 8D2 Skar Audio 8" Subs Dual 2 Ohm 1600W Loud Pro Subwoofers Speakers New | eBay

any one of these in around a 1.25 cube box ported will sound a lot better vs a single 10 sealed imho
Yeah well that's not always good advice I did 2 Tantric MD's sealed because I didn't have room for ported and The SQ is amazing and they still beat the fk outta my car on 2200 rms. Not everyone needs to go ported to achieve the desired effect.

No offense but you went from low end MTX to what you have now. One 12 ported or 2 ported 10 would beat your car up worse.

I've got some like new CDT EF-120 12's right now that take a small enclosure and talk about sound quality. They work well from .5 cuft to 1.5 cuft only selling because I upgraded to 4 QEX-1220s in a sealed enclosure. HMU we can work something out.

They'd probably sound like **** too how much rattle do you need lol? I got a guy at work has ported HDC3 10 and it is pretty loud but sounds like absolute **** because it rattles everything in his fkin car. Mine sounds like a good sounding system where you can pick out each high and drum beat in the LP Bleed it out drum solo.

I'll repeat what I said before...

The scion didn't rattle. Except for the rear bumper trying to tear itself off. Closed cell foam is your friend.

depends on what kind of response you want. tuning makes a big difference in reference to the type of music you listen 2. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. I prefer the sound of the ported enclosure. (Actually my fav is a pr setup). Few years ago psi was pushing a pr setup of a sa-8 in a .5 cube box with a 10" pr and the thing slammed.

i loved my spg-555 with pr setup.

Nice yup depends on what people like I agree. I think sealed are looked down on alot because people use ****** enclosures too lol. Cherry built me a fabulous enclosure. I think if you know how loud you want to be you can match the subs and enclosure to meet you needs. It's all personal preference but I talked to some people running GZ's in sealed enclosures and I was pretty impressed by the sq of the systems yet they were still serious ground pounders.

Okay so I went with a soundqubed, and a small ported box that's tuned to 37hz from on of their partners atrend. Can't wait to get it and set it up. If I don't like the sound I'll probably sell it and get a Q from FI. I went stupid loud before I kinda want better sq this time. Not sure if the soundqubed will do it, but it should do for now.
