Best SQ speakers???

- Ok... another little person //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I'd look at the Rainbow line of speakers.
Rainbow Germaniums - gsr22 - member on here is selling a brand new set for $375....this set sells for right around $500 retail.

I would look at Rainbow, CDT, Hertz, PG Ti, Dynaudio of the top off my head. See what any of them have in your price range. You cannot go wrong with any of those brands.IMO

There is no way to objectively answer your question. We all want efficient speakers that sound great, and get loud. However, there's always a trade off.

The above suggestions are good ones, however, there is no way to tell which one would work best for you. Nothing is going to keep up with 2 pounding L7s.

In fact, I find it rather pointless to spend money on a high end component set when it will be so overpowered with subsonic frequencies. You're better off getting a good efficient set of mid-priced components like the CDT EF series comps (under $200.00), Focal Polyglass (around $300.00), or some mid level MB Quarts (around $200-$250.00).

I'd lean towards the Focal, because if any tweeter can overcome a couple of L7s, it's the Focal tweeter.

Excellent advise right here. You are going have a Dam* hard time keeping up with those L7's at high volumes.IMO Also you are looking at very musically comps that are known for their ability to reproduce music accurately.

If you want to keep up with something sound wise like the L7 you are talking about something like the Rainbow Powerline, CDT HD with M6 upgrade or Dynaudio with a large mid driver. If you are going to look at any of these options bring your pocket book. You are looking at $700+ for these types of options.

The L7's are not known for sounding really good but for being able to get loud. I have never heard anyone say a L7 is a great sounding sub. If you want SQ then do SQ. If you want what people call SQL then look at Soundsplinter, SI, FI, RE, IDMAX, JBL GTi, JL W6, Dayton and even the PG RSd subs ect. type brands.

I would look at something like the PG RSd with some good power on them. Unless you are going to change out those subs with something that is designed for a different purpose. No sense buying a set of $500 dollar comps if you cannot hear and enjoy them. Something that is known for getting loud and still being very musical.

You have to decide what you are going for and how much money you want to spend. Rainbow Powerline can get very loud and keep their composure but they will cost you about $1000.00 and you need some serious power to run them to their full potential.

This is just my .2 cents. Many others may have other opinions on the matter.

This will only be up to you in the end, we can only provide brands that are known for great products. I will give you some of my top choices (only things I have used, or heard in person). My number 1 choice is MB Quart. I've heard the Premium line, and wow, crisp warm sound. My number 2 choice is Hypnotic. I own the HV5's from the Vertigo line, and the mid bass is phenomenal, the tweeter can get very harsh at some volumes, but I think that was mainly caused by the headunit I had been using. The crossover points could be a lot better, and the tweeter from this line could use some improvements. The Zen line is suppose to be absolute top. People have won several SQ competitions with this line. My third is RE. The RE components, I don't think are actually intended to be great for SQ, but to my ear, they sound amazing. I've never owned any, but I do plan on buying some for my Grand Am. You can always build up your own component set, instead of just buying the set together, check out and read about the tweeters, the crossovers, and the midbasses. Look for the pros, the cons, and what you're eyeing for. Are you ever thinking about running active, or just using a passive setup?

My audio system is:

1 Pioneer PEH- 7800

4 Beyma 6MI 100

1 Crossover KX-3

1 Kicker ZX800.4

1 Rockford Power T1000.1dB

1 Hifonics Brutus BXi 1606D (will be updated for 1 Rockford Power T1000.1dB)

2 2004 Kicker L7 15" 4DVC (will be updated for 2 2006 Kicker L7 15" 2DVC)

I will sell my Hifonics Brutus BXi 1606D and I will buy 1 Rockford Power T1000.1dB, also I will sell the 2 2004 Kicker L7 15" 4DVC, to buy 2 2006 Kicker L7 15" 2DVC.

The 4 Beyma 6MI 100 are very loud speaker but they are not SQ.. what can I do to improve my SQL?? Can I buy another amplifier and add 4 tweeters? or sell the 4 Beyma 6MI 100 and buy another speaker or components? or I need new speaker for the 2 Kicker L7 15" 4DVC @ 2ohm.?.....and in the future for 2 2 2006 Kicker L7 15" 2DVC @ 1 ohm..

What do you recommend me?

oh and thanks for the help by the way
