What would be louder,1 12 ported or 2 10s sealed the box that is sealed will have about .82 cu ft. the ported would have 1.29

you not getting loud at all if you gonna buy shit boxes like those. "shit" meaning its designed to save space and look nice, not get loud. Pretty much a nice ornament.

Bro they literally gave you the answer and you just keep adding your suggestions lol. I’m like you as well, but let me save you money, time, and frustration. Just listen to these guys when they give you ideas for set ups. Save yourself a lot of trouble trust me...

Do not ever go ported if you’re not getting it custom for the sub. You can get away with prefab sealed enclosures, and they will be OK, but far from getting all the bass your sub is capable of. The enclosure makes a much bigger difference than the sub. A 40$ Blaupunkt sub in a custom box will outperform an expensive JL sub in a bad box. If you HAVE to do a prefab that’s too small, get some poly fill and stuff a pound or 2 in the box and keep expectations low. A lot of us on here have done what you are doing, and learned the hard way. I did.

The new Focal MW10 has a mounting depth of 4 inches and only requires 0.35 air space. Its not cheap but its gonna work for me cause weight is paramount in my build.
