Best sealer??

Use glue to hold the box together. Silicone won't do the job. I personally make clean cuts and use a bead of wood glue to seal the edges of my boxes. Makes the joint stronger as well.
Exactly.

The way to make the BEST seal is to have too straight cuts. To assemble, go with a good wood glue (titebond II, elmers, etc) and some screws.

I don't think that they can be too straight in this case...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
I reread that, and I dont have a clue what I was trying to say, LOL //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif

I have found that using Titebond Wood Glue to hold the box along with GE Silicone II to seal it has worked wonders.........Look at the sealant rating on the Silcone II (WOOD = 10)......JFYI
