just curious to see what ya'll use to caulk the corners of your boxes? ive used silcone and liquid nails, but never kno what liquid nails to get. they have like 8 diff types??

I use liquid nails wood. It comes in a brown tube and says "WOOD" on it. haha.

I always just use the white silicone/caulk Adex Plus i think it is, from walmart. Cheap, and works for me. Ive heard a lot of bad things about liquid nails, but that may be for bonding purposes.. so I say caulk FTW.

yeah I learned that using liquid nail for bonding isnt the greatest unless you use a ton. Titebond 2 and then hit it with liquid nail to seal it up.

Titebond 2 FTMFW.. I use the same stuff, and love it. Probably will never change from that stuff. Used it for ever, and its a great deal for what it does. I have used Liquid nails for sealer, but I must have read wrong on how well it works, i have used the caulk stuff, and haven't had problems, but trying new things don't sound bad.. thanks though.. and hopefully other people realize the downfalls of using Liquid nails for bonding.

do you guys use the same silicone to put your boxes together, before you screw em down?

Use glue to hold the box together. Silicone won't do the job. I personally make clean cuts and use a bead of wood glue to seal the edges of my boxes. Makes the joint stronger as well.
